Fitting notes for this unit

• Oil Feed Pipe is Mandatory: The original oil feed pipe, banjo bolts and internal gauze filter MUST be replaced with new genuine parts. Failure to do so is the leading cause of repeat failure and will void your warranty.
• Prime Before Starting: Before connecting the oil drain, use a syringe to fill the turbo’s oil feed port with clean engine oil. Once fully installed, disable the fuel injectors and crank the engine for 15-20 seconds until the oil light goes out to ensure oil pressure reaches the turbo.
• No Sealant: Do not use any silicone gasket sealant on the oil or exhaust flanges. Use only the new gaskets supplied, as sealant can break off internally and block critical oil passages.
• Clean All Ancillaries: The engine sump and oil pick-up pipe must be removed and cleaned of all carbon deposits. The intercooler and all boost hoses must also be cleaned to remove any oil residue from the previous failure.
• Oil and Filter Change: A complete engine oil and filter change is essential. Use only the exact grade of low-SAPS oil specified by the manufacturer for this DV6 engine.
