The warranty on every GAP-supplied reconditioned turbo runs 24 months from the date of dispatch, on parts and labour. It transfers to any approved fitter in our directory without paperwork. If the unit fails inside the warranty window, we collect it, strip it, and either rebuild or replace at our cost. This page is the terms.
What is covered
- CHRA failure (shaft-play, bearing wear, seal failure) for 24 months from dispatch.
- VNT actuator failure (electric or vacuum) for 24 months.
- Balance defect (vibration above 200,000 rpm test threshold) for 24 months.
- Return courier at our cost when fitted by an approved workshop.
- Rebuild or replace within 3 working days of receipt.
What is not covered
- Damage from a blocked oil feed pipe not replaced at fit (we mandate replacement on 1.6 HDi and 2.0 TDI VAG).
- Damage from oil starvation caused by a failed sump pump or blocked pickup.
- Damage from an unrelated failure: DPF collapse, injector runaway, coolant loss.
- Damage from fitting by an unapproved workshop that skipped the priming procedure.
- Physical damage (impact, foreign object in the intake).
How to claim

- We book a collection with our courier at our cost.
- Strip and inspection in Birmingham inside 3 working days.
- Rebuild or replacement dispatched next-day, or refund on the invoice.
Trade warranty
Trade account holders get the same 24-month term plus a same-day forward-stock replacement: we ship the replacement unit before the failed one arrives back with us, so the customer is not left waiting. See the trade page for terms.
