Common failures
The 2.0 TDI VAG box (BKD, CAYC, CFHC, CBBB) suffers oil-line coking on the feed pipe, which starves the bearings and eats the shaft. We supply the replacement feed pipe in the fitting kit. The 1.9 TDI ALH and BXE fail on the VNT vane linkage sticking; ultrasonic clean, new vanes if needed, balance-tested. Every recon ships with 24 months warranty.
