Forced DPF Regeneration

Forced (active) DPF regeneration

If your DPF is partially blocked and the vehicle cannot complete a self-regen, we run a forced active regeneration at our workshop. This is a diagnostic-controlled high-temperature burn that clears soot without removing the filter.

When it works

  • Soot loading below ~60%
  • No ash overload (forced regen does not remove ash)
  • No mechanical damage to filter

When it does not

  • Heavy ash loading: needs workshop clean instead
  • Cracked or melted substrate: needs replacement
