GAP Turbochargers Frequently Asked Questions

Q) A Turbo charger looks exactly the same as mine, would it fit my Vehicle?

A) Not necessarily, turbochargers can look similar from the outside, but internally they are frequently different. It is essential you match the right turbo charger to your vehicle/part number.

Q) If my actuator is faulty, can I replace it with another one straight away?

A) Yes, providing the actuator you replace it with has exactly the same opening pressure and rate.

Q) What information do you require to correctly supply me?

A) We will need a variety of things, but more importantly the Car Registration Number or the Part Number from the turbo itself, or data provided by your main dealer. Have a look at our ‘Turbo Identification’ page for help and guidance in locating turbo part numbers.

Q) Oil in the inlet pipe – is this indicative of a fault?

A) A very small amount of oil in the inlet pipe is normal. The more engine wear, the more likely traces of oil will be found in the inlet pipe, as it is drawn in by the engine’s crankcase breather system.

Q) If I wanted to buy a turbo today, how do I pay? And when will I receive it?

A) We offer a variety of ways to suit you. You can pay over the phone with your credit or debit card, or you can pay via PayPal (Mainly for customers that have purchased via eBay). We promise to dispatch all orders received before 3.30pm the very same day, which means you will have a delivery by the following working day.
